PT Petrolog Indah carried out the Replacement Cladding & Skylight project at SLB’s facility in Cikarang. This project involved the renovation and revitalization of the building envelope structures of the workshop and operational hangar, with the aim of reducing electricity consumption for workshop lighting.

The scope of work included the removal of existing panels and the repair of corroded supporting structures (purlins/girts), followed by the restoration of protective anti-corrosion coatings.

To improve energy efficiency, durable skylight panels made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) or polycarbonate were installed to maximize natural daylight and reduce electricity consumption for lighting during daytime operations.

In addition, industrial-standard corrugated cladding materials were installed, complete with weather-seal fasteners and heavy-duty sealant, to ensure building watertightness and prevent leaks.
